For the first time in the deep sea, the scientific research ship was broadcast in the deep sea

In May 8th, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) carried out remote controlled unmanned deep sea voyage in the South China Sea.

The “Kejia” research boat shows the secret world of the sea to the public through live broadcast.

The voyage started in April 17th, and carried out 1 months of scientific expedition, focusing on three main themes: seamounts, deep sea sediments and cold spring systems.

Carry out in-situ observation, experiment and sampling of water depths ranging from 1000 meters to 4000 meters.
